Elevation is an established chartered accounting firm based in Tauranga, with a dedicated team of professionals offering a wide range of business and accounting services.
Our Tauranga office services a strong base of Bay of Plenty clients, and we continue to welcome new clients. A large number of our clients work with us remotely.
Through the use of the latest technology and cloud-based software, our team operates efficiently with minimal downtime. We were early adopters of Xero, implementing it well before its listing on the NZ Stock Exchange, and contributed valuable insights and development suggestions during its formative stages. Why Accounting? Michelle’s decision to study accounting was inspired by a moment in a bank, where she saw a pallet of notes and realized that helping people make more money could make life easier. Coupled with her strength in mathematics, accounting became a logical and rewarding choice.
Special Talents: Michelle has a unique talent for finding car parks near the entrance of shops she wants to visit, a skill that certainly comes in handy!

Biggest Achievement: Janaya’s proudest achievement is earning her conjoint degree in Accounting and Chemistry, a testament to her dedication and hard work.

Why Accounting? Although accounting was his second choice after medicine, Jason embraced the challenge and found his niche in the financial world.

Favourite Part of the Role: Dara enjoys the opportunity to learn and analyze the tasks she’s given. She thrives on challenges, especially when it comes to asking for help, which pushes her to develop new strategies and become more effective and efficient in her work.
Why Accounting? Inspired by her cousin, an amazing accountant, Dara was drawn to the world of numbers and problem-solving. Her high school experiences with accounting topics like journals and trial balances solidified her interest. She appreciates the broad applicability of accounting across industries and the stability, career growth, and lifelong learning it offers.
Special Talents: Dara can play the ukulele and basic chords on the guitar, adding a musical touch to her skill set.
Biggest Achievement: Dara's greatest achievements include supporting her parents financially, especially during her mother's battle with cancer, and funding her two younger sisters' education. One sister now works at TOA, and the youngest is preparing for the CPA review. Personally, Dara cherishes her travels across the Philippines and visits to Hong Kong and Macau. Professionally, her current job, which involves international accounting and processing tax returns, stands out as a significant milestone.
