There’s not a day that goes by at Xero that we don’t turn to a small business owner or advisor either to test our latest product features, sense check our assumptions, or to listen to the daily bugbears of being in business.
The way we see it, you can’t presume to empower small business without the voice of small business to power you. It means our proudest achievements are those voted by our customers. They’re the people immersing themselves in their businesses day in and day out.
We’re happy you’re happy
So I’m immensely proud to share the news that Xero has received the Canstar Blue customer satisfaction award for small business accounting software for the fourth year in a row.
Canstar’s annual independent survey speaks to hundreds of small business decision makers across Australia to provide a benchmark of quality for accounting software. Again this year, its small business respondents gave Xero five stars across five categories: overall satisfaction, ease of use, value for money, ease of integration and reporting.
The fact that small businesses keep choosing us year after year is so rewarding – especially when you consider that only three percent of Canstar Blue winners have ever achieved the award for four consecutive years. And it doesn’t stop us looking for new and improved ways to make a difference. That’s why it’s so special to me that the level of our overall customer satisfaction has increased since we won the accolade this time last year.

Supporting small business success
As part of the research, small business owners shared the impact that accounting software has on their business today.
Of the hundreds who took part, 83 percent of people said accounting software is critical to their business, 87 percent said it makes business operations easier, and 69 percent said their accounting software actively contributes to their business growth.
Providing support that’s crucial for small business success is the reason we get out of bed in the morning. As the business landscape continues to change and technology evolves, we’re committed to a level of customer collaboration that will deepen small business opportunities over the years ahead.
