“Many business owners are in digital diapers. They didn’t open their business because they were interested in becoming an online marketer or digital marketer. They got it because they love pool and they wanted to open a place that sells pool tables,” Ron tells Elizabeth.
“Today it’s more about giving away intellectual property because that’s how you get attention. Consumers are smart. They know that marketing exists to get their attention to sell them something. Today they will give you their attention; they’ll barter for it, if you give them something back of value,” he adds.
