At Xero, we’re committed to building a thriving ecosystem to help small businesses and their advisors effectively and efficiently grow their businesses.
Today we’re excited to announce our latest integration with Thomson Reuters Digita Accounts Production Advanced to streamline the accounts production process. By integrating Xero and Digita we offer a complete single ledger integration that syncs data via secure API connections.
Thomson Reuters Digita Accounts Production Advanced is a comprehensive accounts production system that provides customisable, legislative and iXBRL-compliant financial templates. Digita Accounts Production Advanced sits within the Digita Professional Suite of products as part of Thomson Reuters core compliance software range, integrating with Practice Management, Corporate Tax and Personal Tax to share data efficiently and effectively.
Two-way integration with Xero syncs client data, including Xero account nominal codes and Digita codes. It’s flexible, allowing you to use your Xero account codes in Digita or to map Xero codes with Digita codes. You decide what’s best for your practice.
Using Xero with Digita Accounts Production Advanced saves time, reduces errors and enhances practice efficiency. The more integrated your processes, the easier it is to manage clients. The integration includes:
- Seamless data transfer and syncing – no more downloading CSV files to transfer information between the two systems.
- Sync accounts and nominal codes – either use the Xero account codes in Digita or map Xero and Digita codes.
- Two way journal management – post adjustment journals or create manual journals within Digita and sync with Xero to keep accounts up to date. And any changes in Xero journals will sync back into Digita.
To use the Xero integration you must be using version 6.14 or later of Digita Accounts Production Advanced.
A similar integration is also available with BTC Software for year-end annual accounts.
